When you need to convince your mother-in-law that bartending is a real job.
1.5 oz Bourbon
1 oz BackYard Originals Ginger Lemongrass Syrup
.25 oz Lemon
1 Egg White
2 Dashes (or a couple drops) Angostura Bitters (in dropper for fancy garnishes)
Put all ingredients in the shaker except angostura bitters and shake without ice for 30-60 seconds (make sure to firmly grip your shakers, the egg white expands in the tins and can pop!). Open shaking tin, add ice, shake again to chill, then double strain cocktail into chilled coupe glass. Use your dropper of angostura bitters to drop bitters into the froth of the drink and use a toothpick to draw in your pattern. Damn you’re fancy.
